Paul Collins gives a great explanation of why Power Pop is important and why you should support the artists that I review here at Power Popaholic. God Bless You, Commander Collins!

Rusty Anderson "Born On Earth"
The latest album from Paul McCartney’s sideman, Rusty Anderson. His first album is a bona fide power pop classic, and this new one sounds headed in that direction as well. Check it out here.
Dani Rosenoer "Punching Keys"
I have to admit being totally impressed with Dani Rosenoer’s skill as a musician. Everyone’s Talking is his piano-rock band consisting of Dani (piano/vocals) and Evan Kuhn (guitars/vocals). The band’s now releasing it’s “Punching Keys” EP. But oh, that poor doomed piano! Their last album “Dragonflies” is produced by David Bottrill (Muse, Tool, Silverchair). The band’s pop progressive aim is very high, and as musicians they have the talent to go far.

Frank Royster "Mr. Wonderful"
One of the best tracks from Frank Royster’s new album Innocence Is Bliss. This music video is pretty involved with high production values, but it’s Frank’s jangling guitar that’s the real star. Read my review for this album over here.
James Henry "The Sun Is Cracking The Flags"
The catchy single from James Henry, a singer, guitarist and producer from the UK. Read my review of James album here. It tells the story of a little safari man’s journey of philosophical discovery around a planet of unusual landscape and almost art-deco vegetation, whilst his big counterpart sings effortlessly of Captain Beefheart, hyenas and other universal predicaments (in a nice scarf).
