Brooks has always been a talented, melodically obsessive, and cynical musician who wears his heart on his sleeve, much like Roger Klug or Chris Von Sneidern. His latest album is called “Harmony of a Passing Light” and has influences from the Beatles to Daryl Hall. The band features former Cake drummer Todd Roper and is produced by Paul Hoaglin (Mother Hips) and Shay Scott (Klickitat Band Camp), along with David Simon Baker (Mother Hips, Jackie Greene, ALO). I was honored to speak with Brad right after my review, and got some great insights on his methods and motivations. |
